GOLF OUTINGS

 

Golf Tournament
The tournament format, contests, and other golf activities must be coordinated and approved in advance by the Club Manager. A list of all participants and pairings must be provided to the club at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the event. The Club Manager will be available to help you choose a tournament format appropriate for your group.

Dress Code
All guests are expected to remain in proper attire at all times in the clubhouse, on the golf course, and on the driving range. Work jeans, bathing attire, undershirts, gym shorts, coaching shorts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, cut-offs, short-shorts, tennis outfits and dress of similar nature are considered inappropriate attire in the golf environment. Recommended shirts are collared and shorts are of “Bermuda” length.

Golf Course Care
Guests are expected to obey the cart rules of the day, repair ball marks, rake bunkers and replace divots as needed. Management reserves the right to remove any guests from the property for not adhering to these policies.

 

Golf Carts
All golfers must ride golf carts provided by Wapakoneta Country Club.

  • No more than two riders are permitted per golf cart.

  • Golf carts must follow the cart rules of the day.

  • Customers driving golf carts must be licensed drivers. A junior golfer over 16 may be asked to present a valid driver’s license to drive a cart.

  • All carts must be returned to the staging area immediately following the conclusion of play.


Speed of Play
All golfers are expected to complete their 18-hole round in four and one half (4 ½) hours or less. It is the responsibility of each group to keep pace with the group ahead. It is each group’s responsibility to be observant of its position on the course and keep pace. The player assistant has the authority to keep play moving at the proper pace for all players’ enjoyment.

Food & Beverage Policies
No outside food or beverage of any kind, unless purchased from the Club may be consumed on the Club’s premises at any time of the event.

Alcoholic Beverages
The management of Wapakoneta Country Club does not permit excessive alcohol consumption on the Club’s property. Our staff reserves the right to refuse the serving of alcohol to any person that appears to be intoxicated. In accordance of Wapakoneta Country Club and Ohio State Laws, no person under 21 years of age will be served alcoholic drinks. Any person from your party that helps an underage guest obtain alcohol will be asked to leave the premises and the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office will be notified.

Damage of Club’s Property
All event hosts are responsible for the actions of their guests or organizations. Any damage incurred by guests or organizations will be repaired by the Club or a third party source, which is under the discretion of the Club Manager. The host will be held responsible for any repair or replacement costs to the Club’s property.
